This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to step into a senior leadership role, supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef with the overall management of kitchen operations
• Lead and supervise junior chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring high performance and development
• Oversee food preparation, presentation, and consistency across all service periods
• Contribute to menu planning, recipe development, and creative culinary innovation
• Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety standards
• Support service during busy periods, maintaining smooth kitchen flow
• Conduct effective section handovers and communicate operational requirements
• Uphold the property's five-star hospitality and culinary standards

Minimum Requirements

• Recognised professional culinary qualification
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a luxury hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
• Excellent understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Passionate about creativity, quality, and exceptional guest experiences
