About the Role

Our client is seeking a sophisticated and results-oriented Food and Beverage Manager to lead the F&B operations of a premium hotel located in the heart of Durban . This role is crucial for driving revenue, enhancing guest satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth operation of all bars, restaurants, banqueting, and room service facilities. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, and in-room dining.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue and profitability while maintaining high service standards.
• Manage and train a diverse F&B team, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Control inventory, manage supplier relationships, and ensure effective cost management for food and beverage expenses.
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional activities to drive business and enhance the hotel's reputation.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations across all F&B operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Food and Beverage management within the hospitality industry.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth in F&B operations.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on staff development and performance.
• Excellent understanding of F&B trends, menu engineering, and wine/spirit knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is highly desirable.
