About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Process Improvement Industrial Engineer to join their expanding operations in Nelspruit . This role is crucial for driving continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and quality across various departments. You will be responsible for analyzing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing robust solutions based on industrial engineering principles and lean methodologies . The successful candidate will have a passion for problem-solving and a keen eye for detail, contributing to operational excellence in the Mpumalanga region.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current operational processes to identify bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities for improvement in Nelspruit .
• Design and implement efficient workflows, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles, such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Kaizen, to streamline operations.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented changes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful adoption of process improvements.
• Conduct training sessions for employees on new processes and improvement techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• 2-4 years of professional experience in industrial engineering or process improvement roles.
• Demonstrated experience with lean methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
• Proficiency in process mapping software and data analysis techniques.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
