About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven E-commerce SEO Specialist to enhance their online visibility and drive organic traffic to their e-commerce platform. This is a fully remote position, enabling you to optimize search engine performance from anywhere. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, analyzing website performance, and identifying opportunities to improve search rankings and drive qualified leads. Your expertise in on-page and off-page SEO, technical SEO, and content optimization will be crucial in boosting our e-commerce business's organic search presence and conversion rates. If you have a passion for all things SEO and a proven track record in e-commerce, this role is an excellent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase qualified traffic to the e-commerce website.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap identification to inform SEO initiatives.
  • Perform technical SEO audits, identifying and resolving issues related to website speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, and indexability.
  • Optimize website content, meta descriptions, title tags, and header tags for relevant keywords.
  • Build high-quality backlinks through ethical outreach and content promotion strategies.
  • Monitor SEO performance using analytics tools, generate regular reports, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an SEO Specialist, with a strong focus on e-commerce SEO.
  • Proven track record of successfully improving organic search rankings and driving traffic/conversions for e-commerce websites.
  • In-depth knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
  • Experience with website content management systems (CMS) and basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive SEO strategy in a remote setting.
