Remote Operations Excellence Lead

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Remote Operations Excellence Lead to champion continuous improvement and best practices across their globally distributed teams, with a focus on operations originating from or connected to Polokwane . This role is essential for designing, implementing, and measuring operational improvements that drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction in a remote-first environment. You will collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and embed a culture of operational excellence throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of operational excellence initiatives across remote teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction through data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Design and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for remote operations.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operational improvements.
• Facilitate training and workshops on operational excellence methodologies for remote employees.
• Collaborate with technology and operations teams to leverage tools and systems for enhanced efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Operations Management or a dedicated Continuous Improvement role, preferably in a remote setting.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills for engaging remote teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
