Key Responsibilities

• Design and specify energy storage systems (e.g., battery energy storage systems - BESS) for various applications, including grid-scale, commercial, and industrial use.
• Perform system modeling, simulations, and performance analysis to optimize storage system design and operation.
• Select appropriate storage technologies, inverters, and balance-of-system components based on project requirements and performance targets.
• Develop control strategies and algorithms for energy storage systems to manage charging, discharging, and grid interaction.
• Collaborate with project developers, EPC contractors, and grid operators throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all system designs comply with relevant safety standards, codes, and technical specifications for energy storage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the design, engineering, or deployment of energy storage systems.
• Strong understanding of battery technologies (e.g., Lithium-ion), power electronics, and grid-tied system design.
• Proficiency in system modeling software and experience with control system development.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements for energy storage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
