About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Fleet Driver to join their commercial services division in Centurion . This role involves managing and operating a diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring efficient transportation of goods and personnel within the Gauteng region. You will play a key part in maintaining the operational integrity of the fleet and supporting various business functions. The position requires a professional with excellent driving skills and a proactive approach to fleet management, contributing to the smooth running of logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, safely and professionally.
• Transport goods, equipment, and personnel to specified destinations within designated timelines.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on assigned vehicles and report any issues for timely repair.
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details.
• Collaborate with the fleet manager to optimize routes and schedules for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company safety protocols in Centurion .

Requirements

• Valid Professional Driver's Permit (PDP) and a clean driving record.
• Demonstrated experience in driving commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting basic mechanical issues.
• Familiarity with the Centurion and surrounding Gauteng road networks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to varying schedules and delivery demands.
