About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Curriculum Developer specializing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education for a contract position. This fully remote role involves designing innovative and engaging curriculum materials for secondary school students, focusing on inquiry-based learning and real-world applications. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to ensure the curriculum meets national standards and effectively prepares students for future academic and career pursuits. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in STEM fields and a proven track record in educational content creation and instructional design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive STEM curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, and educational resources for secondary school levels.
• Integrate cutting-edge pedagogical approaches, including project-based learning and digital tools, into curriculum materials.
• Ensure curriculum content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with current educational standards and industry trends.
• Collaborate virtually with subject matter experts, teachers, and instructional designers to refine and validate curriculum content.

Requirements

• A Master's degree or PhD in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational content creation.
• Proven expertise in designing STEM curricula for secondary school education.
• Strong understanding of national curriculum frameworks and educational best practices.
