About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Cleaning Supervisor to manage cleaning operations within their facilities in Port Elizabeth. This role involves scheduling staff, conducting quality control inspections, managing cleaning supplies, and implementing best practices in environmental sanitation. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and schedule a team of cleaning staff.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
• Address and resolve any cleaning-related issues or customer complaints promptly.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or sanitation industry.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
