Senior Sourcing Specialist (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is searching for an experienced Senior Sourcing Specialist to join their procurement function on a fully remote basis. This key role will focus on identifying, evaluating, and developing strategic supplier relationships to ensure the best value and quality of goods and services. You will be responsible for complex negotiations, contract management, and driving continuous improvement within the supply chain. This position requires a proactive individual with a proven ability to manage sourcing projects independently and contribute to significant cost savings, operating effectively within a remote, collaborative framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for key categories of spend, including market analysis and supplier identification.
• Conduct complex negotiations with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, terms, and service levels.
• Develop and manage long-term supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and performance improvement.
• Oversee contract development, implementation, and compliance monitoring.
• Analyze supplier performance data and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand evolving business requirements and sourcing needs.
• Identify and implement best practices in sourcing and supply chain management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating complex contracts and achieving significant cost savings.
• Expertise in market analysis, supplier evaluation, and risk management.
• Excellent remote communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in e-sourcing tools, P2P systems, and advanced Excel skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
