Remote Subsea Pipeline Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Subsea Pipeline Engineer to join their globally distributed engineering team. This position focuses on the design, analysis, and integrity management of subsea pipelines for offshore oil and gas projects. Working entirely remotely, you will collaborate with project teams, vendors, and clients to ensure the safe and efficient execution of pipeline engineering tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work from anywhere while contributing to significant offshore infrastructure projects, leveraging advanced technology and flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed engineering design calculations for subsea pipelines, including routing, sizing, and wall thickness.
• Conduct stress analysis, fatigue analysis, and thermal expansion analysis for pipeline systems.
• Develop pipeline installation procedures and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of subsea pipeline integrity management strategies.
• Review vendor documentation and provide technical support during fabrication and installation phases.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams through virtual communication tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in subsea pipeline engineering.
• Proficiency in industry-standard pipeline design and analysis software (e.g., SACS, PIPESIM, OLGA).
• Strong knowledge of subsea pipeline codes and standards (e.g., DNV, API).
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote work environment.
