About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Senior Automotive Service Advisor to manage customer relations and service operations at their Rustenburg facility. As a key point of contact, you will be responsible for understanding customer needs, accurately relaying vehicle issues to technicians, and ensuring a seamless service experience from check-in to pick-up. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, combined with a solid understanding of automotive repairs and maintenance. You will play a vital role in building customer loyalty and driving service department profitability, working within a busy workshop environment that values professionalism and a commitment to exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and accurately document vehicle service needs.
• Translate technical information from technicians into clear, understandable terms for customers.
• Provide accurate repair estimates and present service recommendations to customers for approval.
• Schedule service appointments and manage the workflow of the service department efficiently.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving any service-related issues promptly.
• Ensure all service work is completed correctly and delivered to the customer on time.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor , with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using dealership management systems (DMS) and automotive software.
• A commitment to providing a positive customer experience.
