Hygiene Specialist

Our client is seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Hygiene Specialist to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in their operations in Polokwane . You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring hygiene protocols, conducting inspections, advising on best practices, and contributing to the development of effective sanitation programs. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain effective hygiene and sanitation programs tailored to specific operational needs.
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify potential hygiene hazards.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on hygiene best practices, pest control, and waste management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international hygiene and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as Public Health, Microbiology, or Food Science.
• Demonstrated experience in a Hygiene Specialist role, preferably within a manufacturing or service environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of hygiene standards, food safety principles (if applicable), and infection control.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct detailed risk assessments.
