About the Opportunity

We are seeking an energetic, solutions-driven External Sales Representative to drive growth and promote a premium range of specialized clay masonry, tile, and wall cladding products across the Gauteng region.

Working on the road and visiting sites, you will build relationships with site managers, architects, interior/exterior designers, and developers, playing a key role in expanding market presence in the building and construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Visit construction sites, offices, and retail stores to promote specialized product ranges and build strong relationships with decision-makers.
• On-Site & Retail Support: Manage retail stock levels, run in-store promotions, and resolve on-site customer complaints promptly.
• Sales Administration & Logistics: Maintain accurate records in the CRM/ERP system for sales tracking, historical data, and forecasting. Work closely with warehouse and yard teams to ensure correct packaging and timely dispatch.
• Full Sales Cycle Management: Drive territory growth through proactive multitasking, administrative oversight, and hands-on client consultation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven sales experience within the construction, brick, building material, or related industry.
• Education: High school diploma or tertiary qualification.
• Location & Citizenship: Must be a South African Citizen currently residing in the Pretoria or Centurion area.
• Licence & Vehicle: Valid driver''s licence is required. Must have a reliable personal vehicle for the first 3 months.
• Skills: Strong computer literacy (ERP/CRM experience is advantageous), excellent problem-solving ability, and high energy under pressure.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Starting Base Salary: R32,000 per month.
• Company Vehicle: A company vehicle will be provided after 3 months of successful employment.
• Travel Allowance: Reimbursed at AA rates for business travel/fuel expenses during the initial 3-month period.
• Cell Phone Allowance: R1,000 per month.
• Provident Fund: Company contributes 8%; employee contributes 7%.
