Site Installation Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Installation Engineer to oversee the implementation of new systems and equipment at various client locations in and around Randburg . This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and strong communication abilities to ensure installations are completed on time, within budget, and to specification. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing installations, troubleshooting any issues that arise on-site, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in managing complex installation projects and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute on-site installations of equipment and systems according to project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Conduct site surveys to assess installation needs and identify potential challenges.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during the installation process.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams and clients during and after the process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as an Installation Engineer or in a similar project management role.
• Strong understanding of installation processes, technical drawings, and project planning tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to various sites as required.
