Supply Chain Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and organized Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team, supporting procurement and logistics operations in Upington . This role is central to ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to the company, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with various stakeholders to meet operational demands. You will play a key part in optimizing the supply chain, resolving logistical challenges, and contributing to cost-effective procurement practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a foundational understanding of supply chain principles, working within a hybrid model that balances office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement of goods, managing logistics and transportation arrangements.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock to meet production or operational needs.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
• Assist in managing supplier relationships and evaluating their performance.
• Help identify and implement improvements to supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and related documentation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related procurement role.
• Familiarity with inventory management principles and logistics coordination.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing complex operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
• Proficiency in relevant software, including MS Office and basic ERP/SCM systems.
