Lead Business Analyst

Our client seeks an experienced Lead Business Analyst to spearhead business process analysis and strategic improvement initiatives in Cape Town . In this crucial role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex requirements into actionable plans that drive operational efficiency and enhance client satisfaction. You will be instrumental in defining project scope, eliciting requirements, and ensuring the successful implementation of solutions that align with the company's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the requirements gathering and analysis process for key business projects, working closely with stakeholders at all levels.
• Develop detailed business process models, use cases, and functional specifications to document current and future state processes.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit, validate, and manage stakeholder requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure solutions accurately meet business needs and quality standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of BA practices within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record in a lead or senior capacity.
• Strong understanding of business process modeling (BPMN) and requirements management tools.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in stakeholder management and effective communication across diverse teams.
