About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Retail Merchandising Specialist to join their team, supporting operations primarily in the Polokwane region. This role is crucial for ensuring that products are displayed attractively and effectively to maximize sales and enhance the customer shopping experience. You will be responsible for implementing visual merchandising strategies, maintaining brand standards, and working collaboratively with store teams to create inspiring product presentations. This hybrid role allows for both in-store execution and remote planning and strategy development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective visual merchandising plans and strategies to drive sales and brand awareness.
• Ensure product displays are appealing, organized, and consistent with brand guidelines across all assigned stores.
• Plan and execute seasonal and promotional displays, ensuring timely setup and removal.
• Collaborate with store managers and teams to train them on merchandising standards and best practices.
• Monitor inventory levels related to displays and communicate needs to the merchandising and operations teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform merchandising decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in visual merchandising, retail display, or a related creative role.
• Strong understanding of retail sales principles and how merchandising impacts consumer behavior.
• Excellent eye for detail, spatial awareness, and aesthetic sensibility.
• Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into effective store displays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with store teams and management.
• Willingness to travel to various store locations within the region as part of the hybrid model.
