Lead Civil Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for an accomplished and visionary Lead Civil Engineer to spearhead significant infrastructure projects within a fully remote operational framework. In this senior capacity, you will guide a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects from initial concept to final implementation. Your role will involve strategic planning, technical oversight, and fostering a collaborative environment among geographically dispersed team members. Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of civil engineers and designers.
• Oversee the conceptualization, design, and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
• Ensure all engineering designs and project deliverables comply with national and international standards and regulations.
• Manage project risks, budgets, and resource allocation, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Liaise with key stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and construction partners, maintaining strong communication channels remotely.
• Drive innovation in design methodologies and project execution strategies to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a strong track record in project leadership.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, contract administration, and construction oversight.
• Advanced proficiency in civil engineering design software , including BIM and GIS applications.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, especially in a remote context.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) designation is mandatory.
