CRM Data & Insights Analyst

Description

• This role is to build and continuously maintain RBS's market-intelligence database in Zoho CRM, companies across South Africa categorised by industry, region and size, and to source and manage verified, consent-compliant business and client contact data that supports business development, all within POPIA and FSCA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• To build, structure and continuously maintain company and contact records in Zoho CRM and Campaigns, ensuring accuracy, deduplication and enrichment.
• Develop the firmographic database (industry, region, company size) as an actionable business-development resource, kept current through regular update cycles.
• Acquire business and prospect contact data through lawful, consent-warranted channels and reputable providers.
• Maintain verification, hygiene and update routines so the database stays accurate over time rather than decaying after the initial build.
• Maintain consent capture and opt-out records, working with the Information Officer to keep processing POPIA-compliant.
• Prepare dashboards and reports on the data for sales, compliance and executive teams.
• Prepare data and insights that align with sales, compliance and strategic goals across the group.

Requirements

The ideal candidate

• Has experience in CRM data management, market research or data operations.
• Hands-on with CRM platforms (Zoho ideal); strong data verification, enrichment and hygiene skills.
• Working knowledge of POPIA and consent-based direct marketing.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing large datasets independently.
• Strong stakeholder communication, able to work between sales, compliance and leadership.
