About the Role

Our client, a dynamic Recruitment Consultancy , is seeking a highly motivated Remote Recruitment Specialist with a focus on Engineering roles. Operating in a fully remote capacity, you will be instrumental in sourcing and placing talented engineers across various disciplines for clients in and around Upington and nationally. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering disciplines, exceptional sourcing skills, and a commitment to providing an outstanding candidate experience. You will be part of a forward-thinking virtual team dedicated to connecting top engineering talent with innovative companies, contributing to the technological advancements and infrastructure projects in regions like the Northern Cape , fostering a remote-first approach to talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview engineering candidates across disciplines such as mechanical, civil, electrical, and chemical engineering.
• Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract passive and active candidates for specialized engineering positions.
• Build and maintain a strong network of engineering professionals and foster long-term relationships.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their technical requirements and provide expert recruitment consultation.
• Manage the offer process, including negotiation and closing, ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and emerging skill sets within the engineering field.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment, with a strong specialization in placing Engineering roles.
• Proven ability to source and engage niche engineering talent using various online platforms and professional networks.
• Solid understanding of different engineering disciplines and their respective skill requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, adept at remote interactions.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of requisitions effectively in a remote setting.
