FMCG Operations Coordinator

About the Role

Our client seeks a detail-oriented and proactive FMCG Operations Coordinator to support their supply chain and logistics functions in Polokwane . This hybrid role involves coordinating daily operations, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods from production to distribution. You will play a vital role in optimizing operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of service within the dynamic Fast-Moving Consumer Goods environment, balancing remote work with essential on-site coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operational activities, including order processing, inventory management, and dispatch.
• Liaise with logistics providers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning.
• Prepare operational reports and analyze performance metrics.
• Support the implementation of operational improvements and best practices.
• Assist in resolving operational issues and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain coordination, preferably in FMCG .
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with ERP/WMS systems is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently remotely and as part of a team on-site.
