About the Role

Our client is seeking a compassionate and skilled Preschool Educator and Caregiver to join their dedicated team in Paarl . This role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young children can learn and grow. You will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and committed to building a strong foundation for each child's future learning journey, working collaboratively with parents and colleagues to ensure optimal child well-being and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute age-appropriate lesson plans and learning activities.
• Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
• Observe and document children's developmental progress and learning outcomes.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities.
• Manage daily routines, including meals, rest periods, and transitions, in a structured manner.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development or a related field.
• Proven experience working with preschoolers in an educational setting.
• Good understanding of child development principles and best practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for children.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification is required.
