Remote Program Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a strategic Remote Program Manager to lead multiple, interconnected projects as part of a larger program, working entirely remotely. You will be responsible for defining program strategy, coordinating interdependencies between projects, and ensuring the overall program objectives are met successfully. This role demands a visionary leader capable of managing complex initiatives, driving strategic alignment, and fostering collaboration across distributed teams. The ideal candidate excels in a virtual environment, possesses strong analytical skills, and is adept at translating high-level business goals into executable program plans, ensuring successful outcomes for initiatives impacting the entire organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the overall strategy and roadmap for the program, aligning with organizational objectives.


• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple, interdependent projects within the program.


• Manage program-level risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.


• Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management across all project teams and leadership.


• Monitor program performance, track key metrics, and provide regular, comprehensive reports to executive stakeholders.


• Foster a collaborative and high-performing remote program team environment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; PMP or PgMP certification is highly preferred.


• 10+ years of experience in project and program management, with a proven track record of leading complex, multi-project programs.


• Extensive experience managing remote teams and utilizing virtual collaboration and project management tools.


• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.


• Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets and complex stakeholder relationships.
