Senior Security Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Senior Security Architect to join their fully remote team. This role is critical in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and resilient security architectures that protect the company's digital assets across various environments. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed security best practices into the development lifecycle and provide technical leadership on complex security challenges. The ideal candidate has a passion for building secure systems from the ground up and a proven ability to translate business requirements into robust, secure architectural designs. Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect secure, highly available, and scalable enterprise security solutions.
• Develop and maintain security architecture blueprints, standards, and guidelines.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to address emerging threats.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and application security.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud security, network security, and identity and access management.
• Lead security reviews and threat modeling exercises for new initiatives and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a security architecture role.
• Deep understanding of network protocols, security controls, and cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with threat modeling, risk assessments, and security design patterns.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation for security tasks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
