Supply Chain Manager - FMCG Logistics

About the Role

This critical role will oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement and inventory management to logistics and distribution, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and transportation for FMCG products.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance service levels throughout the supply chain network.
• Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize waste, and prevent stockouts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other supply chain partners in KwaZulu-Natal .
• Implement and utilize advanced supply chain planning and execution systems to improve visibility and control.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the FMCG or related industries.
• Proven ability to manage complex logistics operations and optimize inventory levels.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
