About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Curriculum Developer with a specialization in STEM Education to join their forward-thinking team based in Nelspruit . This role is responsible for designing, developing, and refining engaging and effective STEM curricula for various educational levels. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and instructional designers to create learning materials that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts. The ideal candidate is passionate about advancing STEM education and shaping the future of learning through well-crafted educational content.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive STEM curricula, including learning objectives, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.


• Create engaging and interactive learning materials, such as lesson plans, activities, and digital resources.


• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure curriculum content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with educational standards.


• Pilot and revise curriculum materials based on feedback from educators and student performance data.


• Stay abreast of the latest trends and research in STEM education and curriculum development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or Education; a Master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.


• Proven experience in curriculum design and development, with a focus on STEM subjects.


• Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and effective instructional design methodologies.


• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.


• Proficiency in using educational technologies and authoring tools.
