About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join their team in Tembisa. This role involves working on the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for industrial and commercial applications. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical designs, schematics, and specifications for various projects.
• Perform calculations and analyses for power distribution, control systems, and component selection.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to define project requirements and scope.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure system functionality and safety.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in electrical design and project engineering.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial automation systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or similar.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
