Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, units, and control panels, according to project specifications and blueprints.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during installation, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Conduct system testing and commissioning, verifying functionality and efficiency before handover.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a culture of skill development.
• Maintain detailed records of installation progress, materials used, and any deviations from plans.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure project timelines and expectations are met.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an HVAC Installation Technician.
• Strong understanding of HVAC principles, refrigeration cycles, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Relevant trade certifications (e.g., F-Gas, NATE) are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all installations.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the Johannesburg area.
