About the Role

Our client is seeking a vibrant and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to lead a classroom of young learners in Nelspruit . This role is crucial in preparing children for their formal schooling journey, focusing on foundational academic skills, social development, and fostering a lifelong love for learning. You will create an engaging, stimulating, and safe classroom environment where children can explore, question, and grow. We are looking for an individual with a passion for early education, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to connect with children, parents, and colleagues in the Nelspruit area.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement an engaging kindergarten curriculum that meets educational standards.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and participation.
• Assess children's learning and development, providing regular feedback to parents.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting respectful interactions among students.
• Organize creative learning activities, including educational games, arts, and crafts.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan school events and initiatives.

Requirements

• A relevant degree or diploma in Education (Foundation Phase or Early Childhood Development).
• Proven experience as a Kindergarten or Foundation Phase teacher.
• In-depth knowledge of early childhood learning methodologies and child development.
• Excellent classroom management techniques and strong communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate young children.
• Current First Aid certification is an advantage.
