Procurement Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized Procurement Coordinator to support their purchasing department in Paarl . This role is integral to the smooth execution of daily procurement activities, including processing purchase orders, managing supplier communications, and maintaining procurement records. You will work closely with various internal departments to fulfill their material and service needs efficiently. The ideal candidate is meticulous, proactive, and possesses excellent administrative skills within an office-based setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and generate accurate purchase orders in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery dates, and resolve any issues.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date procurement records, including contracts and price lists.
• Assist in preparing documentation for tenders and bid evaluations.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely fulfillment of requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a procurement support or administrative role.
• Proficiency in using an ERP system and standard office software (MS Office).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A certificate or diploma in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is advantageous.
