Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network security systems (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM) for threats and vulnerabilities.


• Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing forensic analysis and containment procedures.


• Implement and maintain security controls and configurations across the telecom network.


• Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.


• Develop and update security policies, procedures, and best practices.


• Provide security awareness training to staff and stay current with emerging cyber threats.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are essential.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security , specifically within telecommunications environments.


• Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and common attack vectors.


• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM platforms, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.


• Proficiency in incident response, digital forensics, and malware analysis.


• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex security issues clearly.
