Account Manager - B2B Sales

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Account Manager to manage and grow existing client relationships within the Klerksdorp area. This role is essential for retaining and expanding our client's business through proactive engagement and providing exceptional service. You will act as the primary point of contact for your assigned accounts, understanding their evolving needs and ensuring they derive maximum value from our offerings. This hybrid role offers a blend of in-office collaboration and client-facing activities in the North West province.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of B2B clients in Klerksdorp.
• Understand client business objectives and identify opportunities to introduce additional products or services.
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
• Handle client inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, support, product) to ensure client needs are met effectively.
• Drive contract renewals and identify opportunities for account expansion and upselling.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing sales role.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and customer relationship management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools is essential.
• Must be comfortable with a hybrid work model, involving both remote work and on-site client visits in the North West region.
