Graduate Accountant

About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and motivated Graduate Accountant to join their finance team in Pretoria . Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and posting of journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and reconciliation.
• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing procedures.
• Help in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with audit preparations and provide documentation as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related financial discipline.
• Understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in accounting software being a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing tasks remotely and in the Pretoria office.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
