About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-savvy and analytical Blockchain Data Analyst to join their team in Upington . In this role, you will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting complex blockchain data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to understand data needs and deliver valuable reports and visualizations. Key Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and transform data from various blockchain sources (on-chain, APIs, databases).
• Analyze blockchain transaction patterns, network activity, and token flows.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and trends for stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities and risks based on data analysis, providing strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data collection and storage processes.
• Stay informed about new data analysis techniques and blockchain data tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, with some exposure to blockchain or cryptocurrency data.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Python with Pandas, R).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Metabase).
• Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals and transaction explorers.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
