Logistics Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee their supply chain and transportation operations in Mahikeng, North West . This role is critical for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods, managing warehousing, and optimizing delivery networks. You will be responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies, managing a team of logistics professionals, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of service and compliance. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and a proven ability to manage complex logistics operations within a demanding industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
• Manage and motivate a team of logistics coordinators, drivers, and warehouse staff.
• Negotiate contracts with carriers and suppliers to ensure competitive rates and reliable service.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Logistics Management or supply chain operations.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and ERP systems.
