Remote Procurement Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled Remote Procurement Specialist to join their expanding procurement team. This role will involve managing various aspects of the procurement lifecycle, from requisition to order fulfillment, ensuring compliance and efficiency. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to source goods and services, negotiate terms, and manage contracts. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to work remotely, contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives, and drive value for the organization across diverse categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for assigned categories, including sourcing, RFQ/RFP, and negotiation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors .
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through effective sourcing and negotiation strategies.
• Process purchase orders accurately and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or Buyer, preferably in a remote setting .
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices and supply chain principles.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
