Blockchain Business Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic Blockchain Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical blockchain solutions. Based in Randburg , you will be responsible for understanding business challenges, identifying opportunities where blockchain can provide value, and translating these into clear requirements for development teams. This role is crucial for ensuring that our blockchain initiatives are aligned with business objectives and deliver tangible results. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments, playing a key role in the successful adoption of blockchain technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for blockchain-related projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and gap analyses for implementing blockchain solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers and technical leads to define project scope and objectives.
• Develop process flows, use cases, and functional specifications for blockchain applications.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and the technical development team.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support the deployment of blockchain solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with exposure to or strong interest in blockchain technology.
• Proven ability to gather and document complex business requirements.
• Understanding of blockchain concepts, cryptocurrencies, and their potential business applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
