Project Manager/ Scrum Master

We are sourcing for a ICT Project Manager/ Scrum Master role.

• Manage end-to-end ICT projects from initiation to closure, including software development, infrastructure, system integration, cloud-based platforms, APIs, distributed systems and digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project charters, project plans, schedules, milestones, registers, dependency logs, budget tracking information, status reports and close-out documentation.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Coach ICT teams, product owners and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, transparency, inspection, adaptation and continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments, manage risks and issues, escalate critical decisions and coordinate resolution across ICT teams, business units, vendors and implementation partners.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, deliverables, dependencies, benefits and governance compliance.
• Engage technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitate workshops, manage expectations and prepare executive-level reports and presentations.
• Support ICT project governance structures, steering committees, administrative controls, audit readiness and, where applicable, project asset, equipment or licence tracking.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4.
• Degree or diploma in Information Systems and/or Computer Science and/or Software Engineering and/or Information Technology and/or, Engineering or a related technical field.
• Certified Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master, SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent Agile certification.
• Project Management certification is mandatory, for example PMBOK, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Project
• Management, Scrum or equivalent.
• At least five years’ experience as a Scrum Master or ICT Project Manager / Scrum master’s in technology-driven environments.
• Solid technical background working with software development, engineering, infrastructure or cross - functional ICT delivery teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent ICT projects, Agile squads or cross -functional delivery streams.
• Experience supporting delivery across software development, infrastructure, APIs, integrations, cloud-based platforms, distributed systems, CI/CD or DevOps environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, hybrid delivery models and traditional project management methods.
