Key Responsibilities

- Communicate loan decisions and required conditions to loan officers and applicants.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Underwriter or in a similar role within the financial industry.
- Strong understanding of mortgage lending principles, credit analysis, and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations such as FICA, National Credit Act.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in mortgage underwriting software and loan origination systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
