About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to evaluate the creditworthiness of individual and corporate borrowers.
- Develop, implement, and monitor credit risk models and scoring systems.
- Prepare detailed credit risk assessment reports and present findings and recommendations to the credit committee.
- Monitor the existing loan portfolio for signs of deteriorating credit quality and recommend appropriate actions.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with relationship managers to understand client needs and structure appropriate credit facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in credit analysis, risk management, or a related role within the financial services industry .
- Strong understanding of credit risk principles, financial statement analysis, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software (e.g., Excel, SAS, R) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex risk concepts effectively.
