About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Sports Facility Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of their premier sports complex. This vital role ensures the delivery of high-quality services and a safe, enjoyable environment for athletes, members, and visitors within the Leisure & Sports sector. You will manage daily operations, staff, budgets, and maintenance schedules to uphold the highest standards of facility management. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of sports facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day operations of the sports facility, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for grounds, equipment, and buildings, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control for the facility.
• Lead, train, and manage a team of operational staff, including maintenance crews and customer service representatives.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the facility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facility management , with a focus on sports or recreational venues.
• Proven experience in budget management, staff supervision, and vendor relations.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to sports facilities.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
