Remote Mechanical Design Engineer - Product Development

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and develop new mechanical products using advanced CAD software.
• Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Conduct simulations and analyses (FEA, thermal) to validate design performance and reliability.
• Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure designs are optimized for production.
• Participate in virtual design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot design issues and implement design revisions as needed throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360) and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and DFM (Design for Manufacturability).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
