About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented FMCG Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize the flow of goods for their operations, working remotely. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and timely movement of products from suppliers to distribution centers and ultimately to customers within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector. You will be responsible for coordinating transportation, tracking shipments, managing inventory records, and resolving any logistical challenges that arise. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, and a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, with a proven ability to thrive in a remote work setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound transportation of goods, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timeliness.
• Track shipments in real-time and proactively communicate any delays or issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring alignment between physical stock and system data.
• Liaise with carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to resolve logistical problems and optimize delivery routes.
• Process shipping documentation, invoices, and customs forms as required.
• Identify opportunities for improving logistical efficiency and reducing transportation costs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
• 2-4 years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Proficiency in logistics software, transportation management systems (TMS), and inventory management systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
