About the Role
Our client, a well-established non-profit organization committed to sustainable development, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Finance and Administration Manager to oversee financial operations and administrative functions at their Randburg office. This senior role is critical for ensuring the financial health and smooth operation of the organization. You will manage budgeting, financial reporting, payroll, procurement, and general office administration, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate possesses strong financial acumen, excellent leadership skills, and a meticulous approach to detail, essential for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our client's operations in Gauteng .
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the organization's financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls.
- Manage payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions efficiently.
- Develop and implement effective administrative policies and procedures to support organizational operations.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and ensuring efficient office management.
- Manage procurement processes, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and present financial information to the board and stakeholders.
- Oversee the maintenance of organizational assets and facilities in Randburg .
Requirements
- Professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar finance and administration management role, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles, accounting standards, and South African tax laws.
- Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
