About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Managerto oversee critical operationsprojects. This hybrid role is designed to drive efficiency improvements, implement new operational processes, and manage cross-functional initiatives. You will work closely with operations teams, IT, and other departments to ensure projects are delivered successfully, meeting performance targets and strategic objectives. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape and improve operational effectiveness, blending remote strategic planning with essential on-site engagement in the East Londonarea.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of operational improvement projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with operational leadership.
- Develop detailed project plans, manage resources, and track progress against timelines and budgets.
- Identify and implement process improvements within operations, leveraging data analysis and best practices.
- Manage project risks and issues, developing and executing mitigation plans.
- Communicate project status, key insights, and outcomes to operational stakeholders and senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on operations or process improvement.
- Proven experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in a hybrid model, adept at managing tasks both remotely and on-site.
