About the Role

Our client is searching for an accomplished and forward-thinking Lead Software Engineer to spearhead their development efforts, operating entirely remotely. You will be responsible for guiding a team of engineers, designing scalable software architectures, and driving the technical direction of key product initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and robust software architectures and systems.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and project requirements.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure the quality and efficiency of the codebase.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript) and associated frameworks.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience in leading agile development teams and managing complex software projects.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
