About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their remote team. This role is essential for optimizing the company's supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, and reducing costs. You will analyze supply chain data, identify trends, and develop recommendations for improvement across inventory management, logistics, and procurement. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere and contribute to the strategic direction of supply chain activities impacting operations in Polokwane and beyond. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a thorough understanding of supply chain principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, operations) and external partners to improve supply chain performance.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on supply chain activities and recommendations.
• Assist in the implementation of new supply chain technologies and strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or operations.
• Proficiency in data analysis software such as Excel , SQL, and potentially BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, and procurement processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for a remote work environment.
