About the Role
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and people-focused Graduate HR Assistant to support their Human Resources department in East London . This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and contributing to a positive employee experience. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support the onboarding of new employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Maintain employee records and update the HR information system (HRIS).
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, such as preparing correspondence and reports.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Understanding of basic HR principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
