About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting a proficient and dedicated English Second Language (ESL) Teacher for their secondary school in Klerksdorp . This role involves equipping students with the language skills necessary for academic success and effective communication in an increasingly globalized world. You will create an immersive and supportive learning environment, employing diverse teaching methodologies to cater to varying proficiency levels. Key Responsibilities

• Teach English as a Second Language to learners from various linguistic backgrounds.
• Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans focusing on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
• Utilize a variety of engaging teaching strategies and resources to promote language acquisition.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations, including tests, assignments, and oral presentations.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to aid in their language development.
• Foster a positive and interactive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and confidence.

Requirements

• A relevant degree or diploma in Education, Linguistics, or English, along with a recognized TEFL/TESOL certification.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience teaching ESL to secondary school students.
• Strong understanding of language acquisition theories and ESL teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• A passion for language education and cross-cultural understanding.
